Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies, Art and PE
I am from Washington State, Idaho, Arizona, & most recently , Oregon. I played college basketball and rugby at Idaho State University where received my BS in PE/Health/Art. Grabbed a Masters Degree in English Ed from Northern Arizona University.
I’ve taught middle and high school PE, health, art, and other elective and core classes. My philosophy in teaching is that it’s my job to teach kids how to navigate their way along their individual journey in life, through our educational process. Guiding them to finding their passions, strengths, areas to improve, and how they contribute to their world. Soooo excited to teach at TIDE and learn how to create my craft in a new way for an international school setting.
I learned so much from the subbing I did there and am looking forward to seeing those faces again. Great students!! Having a fresh start with these great kids is awesome at this point in my career. Something new and room for lots of growth. I enjoy my family (partner in CR, adult daughter still in OR), hiking, biking, kayaking, hunting, camping, rodeo, art, sports, playing board games and eating.
