TIDE Testing Options
If you are planning on request standardized testing at the end of the term, please be aware that this personalized learning request must be recieved by administration before the start of the school year.
TIDE Academy does not practice releasing internalized testing due to the effects it can have on the personal , social and emotional growth of the whole student. Although we do internal testing as assessment for learning (e.g. identifying students gaps, intervention groups, homework packages, teacher knowledge, etc) we remain true to our vision of remaining a school not rooted in a test based philosophy.
Ultimately, we believe in personalizing learning and facilitating the beliefs of families, some of whom will be returning to test based environments. If released stadardized testing is something you wish to pursue please make an appointment with administration to discuss the addition costs assosiated with his option.
