How long have you worked at TIDE?
This is my fourth year and I have enjoyed every minute.
Where did you receive your education/what did you study?
I studied at Universidad de San José, Costa Rica: Primary School Teaching.
Describe your teaching style
I have always believed, that children learn by doing, so I try that in each of my classes, that the students do something creative and have fun while doing it.
What is your teaching philosophy?
I am also in a class to learn from students, that we never stop learning, we always have to be open and respectful to their ideas.
Why do you like teaching at TIDE?
Just to start, the maximum number of children in a class makes a big difference, they are small groups where we are allowed to teach better and get better results. A lot of support is also received from the work team and the work environment is magnificent.
What do you like to do when you are not teaching?
I like to go to the beach, go to the cinema and on the weekends I like to visit places I still do not know, I like to discover those beautiful spots Costa Rica has.
