What do you teach at TIDE?
Malina- TA
I am a teacher assistant for the lower grades, also I am teaching science stem
for 1&2 and 3&4 grades this year.
How long have you worked at TIDE?
This is my first year at Tide Academy, I ́m so happy to have this experience with me.
Where did you receive your education/what did you study?
I have my bachelor degree in english teaching by Universidad Latina de Santa Cruz
Describe your teaching style:
My teaching style is based on kids that by manipulating materials in sciences things
are amazing for new knowledge, developing themselves and having fun inside and
outside the class. Going out the box.
What is your teaching philosophy?
It is important to say that as a teacher- Teacher assistant, I learn from my students
every day. They provide me with new ideas, new things to do and put in practice just
to have fun and learn in an easy way.
Why do you like teaching at TIDE?
I like to assist- teach at Tide because we have small groups in which kids feel more
comfortable and have individualized attention if they have issues with something.
What do you like to do when you are not teaching?
I like to ride horses, I have 1. Also I like to play soccer, sing and dance. And the most
important value for me is to pass time with my family.
