Describe your teaching style
When I teach I prefer that my students learn a lot through their own exploration, especially working with younger students. I like to help guide students through their learning whiile allowing them to be creative and learn in the best way that fits them.
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that all students learn and develop their skills in different time frames and in many different ways. Students should not be pushed to learn the same as all the others within their classroom. Students need to have the opportunity to explore not only their mind but their growth as a person. Allowing students to understand their learning style is very important for success within all classrooms.
Why do you like teaching at TIDE?
I like teaching at TIDE because their values as a school fit greatly with my style of teaching. Also, I believe that the students benifit greatly with small class sizes, they get the attention and support that they need at all times. I love working within a smaller school community where everyone can builds strong realtionships with one another. Also, I love having four days of school with shorter days, this gives a lot of time for students to explore themselves outside of school.
What do you like to do when you are not teaching?
I love going to the beach and exploring new places around Costa Rica. I also enjoy practicing yoga, working out and spending time with my friends.
