Hello Dear Families,

My name is Kate Regan, and this is my first year at Tide! I am teaching 7th/8th grade Math, Language Arts, History/Social Studies, PE and Environmental Studies. My desire is to empower students to know that they have the grit that it takes to perserver and that they are cable of doing whatever they put their mind to. I am honored to be member of this community and have the opportunity to pour into students’ lives and help shape them into well-rounded humans.

A little bit about me; I am originally from Carmel Valley, California. I received my undergrad at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, as well as my Masters and Teaching Credential in Agriculture Education and Science. Before getting my master’s, I taught outdoor science for several years and I also taught at a non-profit where the focus was culinary and environmental science. I love traveling, good coffee, mountain biking, and being in or by the ocean.
